Zabada Eco-Friendly Bathroom Glove & Marvel Cleaning Cloth

 zabada
diclosure-review giveaway

When you clean your home, you naturally want it to be bacteria free right? Do you ever think about what chemicals the products you use to clean your home has inside them? Take a stand against all those nasty chemicals with Zabada. You don’t need anything other than the Zabada Bathroom Glove, Zabada Marvel Cleaning cloth, and water.

Yes, ONLY water. There’s no need for any chemical induced sprays or products. Add water to the mitt, wipe down the dirt, and dry with the cloth. It’s really that easy. Do you usually clean with paper towels? Think about how much money you will save by using the Zabada products. Not only the money, but think of how you’ll be helping the environment by NOT throwing away all those paper towels.

When I got the Zabada products, it came with instructions as to how to properly use them. You get them, wash them first, and then you can use them. Do not use bleach, fabric softeners, or harsh laundry detergents when washing them. You place them in a laundry bag, toss them in the washer in cold/warm water and tumble or air dry them. They don’t have to be washed after every use, so that’s awesome as well.

The Zabada Glove is a very unique design, it totally kicks other microfiber cleaning mitts to the curb. They couldn’t compare if they tried. I love that this isn’t just another boring mitt that’s just sitting around taking up space. Not only does it work 100% every single time, but it adds character because of the cute designs they have.

The glove is very easy to use- just wet the glove with water and roll the glove up to squeeze out the extra water. Wipe whatever it is that needs cleaning and then follow with drying with the Zabada cloth. Super easy. I was very impressed when they claimed that the Zabada mitt wouldn’t transfer dirt, even residue from makeup; lipstick, eyeliner..etc . I put it to the test, and wa-lah they were right on the money.

Excuse my appearance, lol. Long day of cleaning.. and removing wallpaper to re-do the house

It was amazing not having to use any elbow grease, just wiped it slightly and it was gone. I ran my fingers over the area after I wiped it, and there was absolutely no left over lipstick or eyeliner. NO streaks, residue, or anything. That wasn’t hard at all. The best part is there wasn’t even any fiber residue stuck to the mirror, WOW. This has made bathroom clean-up a breeze.

The cloth that comes with the glove is used to wipe up any moisture that the glove leaves behind. This is because bacteria WILL grow where moisture is present, so this cloth eliminates that moisture. No moisture, no bacteria. This cloth doesn’t leave behind any streaks or fibers either. Wiping the surface right after cleaning, will kill all bacteria that could potentially harm you and your family.

     20141022_231719

You don’t have to JUST use this in your bathroom (just make sure you wash it before you switch rooms). I have used it to clean the inside of my washer and dryer, as a duster *WOW, the dirt just clings to it*, and counter wipe-down after I wash dishes. Cleaning is super quick now, super easy, and doesn’t cost me and arm and a leg. With the additional benefits of not having to spend money on chemically induced cleaners or paper towels.

Zabada is the only complete cleaning system that’s scientifically-proven to:
Rid homes of 90% of harmful chemicals
Remove up to 99% bacteria
Clean faster with a simple wet and wipe
Last 2-3 years to save money
Outlast generic microfiber cloths that lose power after 20 washes
Reduce water consumption by 20%
Reduce energy by 30%
Reduce solid waste by 50%
Reduce air and surface pollutants
Lower potential health risks

About Zabada:

Guided Products Review: Eco-Friendly Back to School Supplies

image

Have you ever walked down a store aisle, where all the products were different colors of the same thing and were made overseas from plastic? If so, expect to see Guided products in that aisle soon, kicking tail. If you make products on that shelf now, it’s time to rumble.

Guided Products are shooting up in the Eco-Friendly Office Supply niche. They develop their products with the consumers in mind, not just themselves. Sure they could be like all the other Binder companies making their products of cheap plastic and charge an arm and a leg for them.

Sure they could do this, but they don’t. Their standards are higher than that. They think about the planet that we are leaving to our children. Do you realize that those plastic binders end up in the landfill and take 5-10 years to fully break down? Guided products are made from recycled cardboard and after you use them, can be recycled AGAIN! That’s what matters to me!

imagediclosure-review giveaway

Guided Products was nice enough to send me the back to school essentials which consist of:

  • 1.5" ReBinder Select
    • Binder comes with tab dividers and RePouch insert
  • RePocket recycled pocket presentation folder
  • ReWrite recycled Journal 8x10 Graph
  • ReWrite recycled Journal 5x8 Ruled
  • ReWrite recycled Journal 3.5x5.5 Blank
  • iPad or Kindle Case

image

The first product I want to tell you about, of course, is the biggest. The 1.5” Rebinder Select. Just because the Guided Products selection of products are recycled doesn’t mean they are weak. FAR from it actually! They are 10x stronger and more durable than the regular plastic binders that are floating around today in my opinion.

I would have much rather had the Rebinder Select when I was in school instead of the plastic ones. These are made of solid chipboard that is 100 points thick, which is almost a 10th of an inch. It would take a TON of pressure to break the front or back off these binders, which I love.

As a writer and researcher I have (too) many binders in my house. I love learning and collecting information about all of my interests and hobbies. I always separate these interests by putting different subjects in different binders. SO, I know all about what I need and want in a binder.

image

The 1.5" ReBinder Select has the capacity to hold 300 pages. It is made out of super-thick, 100 pt chipboard. It is designed to withstand just about anything. It is very high quality, sturdy, and rugged,  It holds up amazingly under stress, unlike the plastic binders were all known to use. I don’t know how many times I’ve had the front rip off of a plastic binder and leave my work exposed.

imageimage

I’m pretty sure the hulk would be the only one able to rip this baby apart. It’s rough and tough, can take a tumble, and will definitely last a long time. They are undeniably able to survive my constant flip, flip, flipping through all the pages. Reading this, highlighting that, adding notes to something I forgot.

I love the fact that I can just flip it open, find a page and start writing. Usually (with the plastic binders) I have to write whatever it is I want to write and THEN put it in the binder after it’s written. This is because the binders are so close together that when I try and write on a page it rips it at the hole punches.

WP_004200

I also adore the fact that I can design the cover, the back, and even the insides however I want. With the plastic binders you can’t do this. You can design sheets of paper or construction paper and insert them in the plastic sleeve, but it just isn’t the same! I love the way my pen will flow across the cover without any problems!

Get Yours: 1.5” Rebinder Select $7.99

imageimage

Each binder also comes with it’s very own Repouch folder insert and 5 tab dividers. Usually you have to buy these separate , so them being included is already a plus. They are both made of the same recycled corrugated cardboard as the binder, they are just a little thinner.

WP_004188image

I also love the fact that they are easy to customize however you want. The plastic tabs and folders aren’t so customizable, especially the tabs. The plastic tabs usually come with white overlay stickers. I don’t know about you but it’s extremely difficult for me to write on those stickers.

It either makes my writing extremely hard to read or my handwriting won’t fit. It won’t fit because a pen doesn’t usually show up too well and I have to end up using a sharpie. I’m glad that I can write on these without a problem, and I can actually read it later on.

Get Yours: Repouch folder insert $1.20 and 5 tab dividers $2.29

imageI also received a Repocket Presentation Folder. This is loved for the same reasons. The strength of the cardboard is 5x stronger than a normal folder. The customization factor- I can draw on it with markers, crayons, or pens. I can tape or decoupage pictures and/or magazine collages to every available space.

WP_004191

This folder is a presentation folder so it doesn’t contain the 3 ring holes that allow it to attach inside a binder. It does stand up amazingly when just slipped inside the binder. The other folders usually bend a little at the top, rip a little, or become frayed. This ones doesn’t, it fit rights inside without a problem!

It’s perfect for keeping all your notes together for a presentation, school, or work. It holds up to 20 pages on each side, so it could also be used as a bill organizer, weekly recipe round-up, or your kids lesson plans (for teaching them afterschool).

image

The Rewrite recycled Journal 8x10 Graph & Rewrite Recycled Journal Ruled are much of the same yet different. They both look like a cardboard version of the standard Composition books. The Graph Journal would be amazing for a math/algebra class or drawing something that needed to be straight and precise.

WP_004192WP_004194

The Lined Journal is exactly like a regular composition notebook except the cover is blank instead of it already being designed for you. You can use this as a regular notebook, journal, or list maker.. it’s all up to you. The cover slides back easily though where a composition book doesn’t. It makes it hard to write on the left hand side if the cover doesn’t fold back all the way.

Get you One: 8x10 Recycled Notebook $3.00 a piece

image

The Rewrite Memo Recycled Notebook 3.5x5.5 is a blank notebook that is the size of a small pocket planner. You can easily slip this inside your purse, jeans pocket, or coat pocket to take it with you where ever you go!

WP_004196

I slip this inside my purse and use it as an inspiration journal. I don’t have a certain theme in mind when I start writing. I use it for blog post inspiration, story inspiration, quote inspiration, and as my craft project inspiration. It’s extremely handy to be able to write down a thought as soon as it pops out rather than forgetting it before I have a chance to write it down!

image

They also sent me a Cardboard Kindle Fire HD case. It is made of the same recycled corrugated cardboard that the binders and everything else is made of. It’s extremely strong and durable and holds up the tablet well.

WP_004199

It has a kickstand on the back, which is amazing. The Kickstand makes it easy to prop it up and play a game or read a book, take notes, or watch a video. It is all right on hand which makes it awesome!

Get YOURS: Cardboard Kindle Fire HD case $6.67

Roaring Springs Paper Products Review & Giveaway

image

Summer is here and it ALWAYS peaks my midnight ramblings. It intrigues me to just write and write and write. I have always been one of those girls that has too much paper, and too many pens, binders and markers. 'I have always LOVED shopping for office/school supplies.

SO you know I was excited to review some notebooks from Roaring Springs Paper Products.  Roaring Springs is a126 year old manufacturer of paper products in the US who has recently extended their line of earth friendly paper products to include Sugarcane Paper Notebooks, Cross-Over Notebooks and Color Me Products for the kids!

I was sent 4 Color Me Notebooks, 2 Cross-Over Notebooks, Genesis Shades 1 Subject Notebook Genesis 5 Subject Notebook and a Genesis 3 subject Notebook, SO you know I was like a kid at Christmas over here.

WP_002705

Here is some info on each:

Color Me Products – These notebooks and folders encourage kids to be creative and personalize by coloring the covers. There are a variety of pre-printed themes on the covers such as Aquarium, Farm, Sports and Fun Park to peak kid’s interest.

Sugarcane Paper Notebooks - This environmentally friendly product is made of paper from sugarcane, truly a renewable paper.  This is a notebook where, by purchasing it really does save a tree.

Cross-Over Notebook - Unique wire bound notebook that has college-ruled lines running the width of the page on one side, and the length of the page on the other side. This unique printing allows you to take notes three ways:  wide for sketching or to illustrate diagrams, standard, or use the backlight grid pattern the lines create for graphing. These are several great ways to get a lot out of one notebook-- crossover to a better note taking

My Review*

I Love to Write ♥

WP_002706

I write and I write A LOT! I feel better about using Roaring Springs Paper Products because their Sugarcane Paper Notebooks are environment friendly. Instead of using paper made from trees (like normal paper is) there are made from sugarcane!

WP_002708WP_002707

The BEST thing about the sugarcane made paper is that it actually write more smoothly than regular paper (or to me it does anyway). I took one look at all these empty notebooks just waiting for ME to dig in and get to creating and I was HAPPY HAPPY!

WP_002710

They are regular white like normal paper, and has a durable vinyl cover that can be wiped clean! I also love that I can write notes to myself on these covers with dry erase markers and then wipe it off when I’ve completed whatever to-do list or whatever that I wrote down.

The inside of the notebooks still contain the little double sided folder which is convenient to keep to-do lists, grocery lists, school handouts, or whatever inside. That way they don’t slip out and you lose them for GOOD!

WP_002738

They also have colored notebooks that are made of sugarcane as well. They are also college rules and have the double sided folder in the front as well as the vinyl cover. This is one of my favorites! This is great for personal means. Journals, Quotes, Poems!

WP_002740

This is one of the crossover notebooks! This also have a vinyl cover that is easy to clean/wipe off if needed! It doesn’t have a folder, but these are AMAZING notebooks. I’d never seen anything like it before.

WP_002741

See how the landscape pages can be seen and then when you flip over it’s letter size! This makes it easy to use both sides for something different. Or you can use both back and front for the same such as poems, lists for school or work, to-do lists.. Smile

WP_002693

These are the Color Me notebooks. I got 4 of them, so I gave each of my kids 2 each. I’d never seen them have so much fun with a notebook! They had fun coloring and designing the front!

The top picture is my daughters, and the bottom picture is my sons. The inside of the notebook is like a regular notebook with lined paper.

WP_002692

Since it’s summer and Aidan learned so much in Kindergarten this year. We use one of his notebooks for continuing learning how to add and subtract small numbers.

Adisyn’s other notebook is used for learning letters and numbers since she will begin preschool in the fall. My kids are growing up too fast, HOW did this happen?

WP_002699WP_002697WP_002698

This is the inside of Aidan’s color book. I loved looking through it and seeing all the cool stuff he is learning to draw. The first picture is of Me and him inside me as a baby (as he wanted to know how he got here LOL).

The second picture is of a rocket ship and the last is a King! He is getting so creative and amazing at drawing for a 6 year old. It’s cool what some crayons, a paper, and an imagination will bring out!

WP_002694WP_002695

This is Adisyn’s drawings. She said hers was the clouds and her (the first one) and flowers (the second). I am definitely putting these up as keepsakes!

Review: Eco Nuts Natural Laundry Soap

image

"Thanks for using Eco Nuts- you'd be nuts to use anything else!

Commercial Laundry Soap has so many chemicals inside that it can eventually seep into your skin via your clothes and harm you. I started looking for alternative options I’d say probably a year or so ago.

Eco nuts sent me their 100 load box of soap nuts to test and try on my clothes. There isn’t really anything that could be considered “extremely dirty” within my laundry pile. The things I was hoping to get out were dirt and grass stains from my kids being outside.

imageimage

These are not actually nuts- so there isn’t a risk for an allergic reaction. These are berries that grow in the Himalayas that naturally produces a soap. The soap is called saponin, a natural cleaner that works as a surfactant, breaking the surface tension of the water to penetrate the fibers of your clothing, lifting stains from the fabric and leaving dirt suspended in the water that is rinsed away.

Eco Nuts are very gentle, so they are perfect for both clothing and skin. If you or someone in the family has sensitive skin, eczema, allergies and psoriasis this will actually help your skin.

image

There are different brands of soap nuts available, but the Eco Nuts are the highest quality. They only use a certain variety & size and they have the highest cleaning power.

I loved the way that these soap nuts have the ability to gently loosen the fibers in clothing (even towels) to make them fluffier and softer. They don’t SMELL amazing- but they look and feel clean. What more could you ask for? Especially if you’re allergic or are sensitive to fragrances.

The soap also doubles as a fabric softener during the rinse cycle- which means you are saving money on detergent AND fabric softener. When you can reuse and reuse soap nuts WHY would you want to buy regular detergent that has chemicals.

When you think about how much money you’ll save—you’ll definitely be making the switch too!

Iimage

BUY IT: You can buy a Trial Size of Eco Nuts (which is 10 loads) for $3.99
